Talks that leave a room with something it can use.
Hospitality, ownership, women and money, and the work behind the work — on stages, panels, and podcasts.
A kitchen-table conversation, not a sales pitch.
I speak on stages, panels, and podcasts about hospitality, direct bookings, brand building, women in business, financial independence, and building companies that outlast the season you're in. I try to leave a room with something it can actually use.
I'm not interested in motivation that evaporates by the parking lot. I'd rather give a room the honest version — the wins, the failures, the pivots, and the numbers underneath them — so people walk out with a decision they can make on Monday. I've built and led across hospitality, real estate, and a financial-independence community for women, and I bring the receipts as readily as the stories.

Six talks I keep being asked to give.
Each one can flex from a twenty-minute keynote to a long-form fireside. Tell me your audience and I'll meet them where they are.
However your room is shaped.
Keynote stage, panel table, two chairs and a mic, or a guest seat on your podcast — the topics travel; only the format changes.
Keynotes
A single, well-built talk shaped to your audience and your moment — story, substance, and a clear takeaway people can act on. Tailored from any of the topics above.
Panels
A candid, generous panelist who lifts the whole table — happy to take the hard questions, share real numbers, and keep the conversation honest rather than rehearsed.
Fireside Chats
My favorite room. A relaxed, interview-style conversation that goes deeper than a keynote allows — the long version of the story, the part that doesn't fit on a slide.
Podcast Guesting
An easy, prepared guest who shows up with stories and specifics — hospitality, building businesses, women and money, and living by the seasons. Send the angle and I'll bring the rest.
A short bio organizers can lift.
Hospitality Founder · Investor · Writer · Speaker · Mother of Four
Tera Lorimer is a hospitality founder, investor, writer, and speaker, and the woman behind Luxury Getaways and Girl Retire. Over more than a decade she has built boutique hospitality across the Pacific Northwest, Arizona, and Coastal Georgia, and now leads Girl Retire, a financial-independence community for women who want retirement to become a choice rather than a birthday.
She speaks on hospitality and guest experience, direct bookings and the vacation-rental business, women and money, brand building, and leading through change — always with the same throughline: that the best businesses are built around service, and the best lives are built with intention. A mother of four, she lives by the seasons, splitting the year between Pacific Northwest winters, summers on the water, and spring and fall on the Georgia coast.
